New works

I am trying to find more time to fit in some artwork in my busy day. So far I have completed a mixed media birth piece that I need to get a picture of... it is too large for my scanner. I am also working on a painting of some of our chickens perched on the railing of the deck. More updates as soon as I have some to post.

All my work is done in either graphite or acrylic. I really like drawing on heavy watercolor paper... at least 140 lb. It gives a nice texture to the drawing and doesn't lose its tooth when an area needs heavy work.
